Christ’s Hospital College, know also as Bluecoats College, is merged into the splendid fields of West Sussex. The imponent building of XVII still preserves the charm of the British tradition, reminding of the atmospheres of Harry Potter with its streets, courts and charming residences.
The students of the Study Vacation in England will stay in the College’s House, in single or double modern rooms (one bathroom with shower every 2-3 students), common areas, TV room and recreational areas.
High level sports facilities: 6 soccer fields, 16 tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, gym, pool, squash and badminton courts.
Our Study Vacation in Horsham alternates in a balanced way English lessons in the morning (or afternoon) with sports and fun activities during the rest of the day. Kids will participate to 20 hours a week of intensive courses with native speaker teachers in modern classrooms, followed by sport in the College’s fields, animation and bilingual staff.
The campus offers high level sports facilities: 6 soccer fields, 16 tennis courts, gym, covered swimming pool and a hall for indoor sports. Each week there are 3 full day trips to London and one to Portsmouth, all accompanied by Italian and English guides. In the evening, there will be English animation activities: quiz, talent shows, disco, karaoke and cinema in the college’s theatre.

The courses of our Study Vacation in England will be fully handled by ELAC, an English school with a great reputation for the quality of the courses that it organizes since more than 35 years.
At the end of the course you’ll receive a certificate of frequency recognized by the British Council and valid for academic credits.
NATIVE SPEAKING TEACHERS
Qualified native speaking teachers will follow students in courses of 15 hours a week (each one 60 minutes). All classrooms are extremely modern and have the most sophisticated visual systems to make lessons always more dynamic and engaging.
ENTRY TEST
Kids will take an entry test and will be divided into groups of maximum 15 participants each based on their level of English. To push the use of the English language, classes can also be formed by students of different nationality. The teaching material will be given by the school but it must be returned at the end of the course.
TRINITY EXAM (OPTIONAL)
For those willing to complete the stay by taking the Trinity College exam, it’s possible for € 150,00

Sports: tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, swimming (with qualified personnel).

Qualified Italian supervisors will take care of participants from the moment of pick up at the airport and they will guide them during the whole stay in England. The staff is carefully selected and formed through specific learning courses. The whole staff speaks English and collaborates with Holiday System from several years. There will be one staff member every 15 kids, guaranteeing constant and customized assistance.
There will also be native speaking English staff that organizes the activity and assists kids during the whole day. Participants to the Study Holiday in England will be in contact with the English staff but always accompanied by the Italian team (the goal is to improve their English even more).
Before departure, parents will receive a phone number, available 24/7 to guarantee the maximum safety and peace of mind.
An Italian doctor will be available 24/7, also to stay in contact with parents. An English doctor, instead, will keep contact with the English hospital administrators. An important presence that qualifies the attention given by Holiday System to safety.
